Joe Avati is a comedian and a successful producer of live comedy shows and has an “uncanny ability to continuously reinvent the genre” of ethnic comedy prompting the Herald Sun to label him “the leader of the pack”. He is the executive producer of the Joe Avati Live series of shows around the world but also of ensemble shows like IL DAGO (I and II), Comicus Erectus and most recently The Good The Bad and The Ethnic.  His first IL DAGO show won ‘Best Comedy Show’ in 2007/2008 and went on to win ‘The Most Outstanding Performers of the Year’ award.
